Cambridge, MD Is A Great Getaway! Only 1.5 to 2 hours from PG County!

I had an amazing time at the Hyatt Regency Resort in Cambridge, MD over the last few days!

The resort is right off of the Chesapeake Bay. It has multiple pools, an arcade, a spa, a fitness center, mini golf and regular golf, a walking trail, restaurants, etc. The facilities appeared clean and the resort is SUPER pet friendly! Yay!

The resort is very family oriented- so expect that many kids will be present. However, I did not encounter any issues with this. The parents were good at keeping their kids in line. As a matter of fact, they seemed careful not to be disruptive to me and my husband’s “peace”. Lol!

A challenge was that the layout was not really conducive to wheel chairs or strollers. Why did I realize this? Because I was wheeling my 3 year old baby DOG 🐶 around the resort in his stroller. 😁. There are a lot of stairs and no ramps. And the walking trails are paved with gravel- which is troublesome for wheel chairs and strollers.

As far as customer service, the staff was relatively friendly, but sometimes provided inconsistent information- especially regarding the check out process- like late check out times and options.

We went to St. Michael’s, MD to dine at Limoncello- which is about 30 minutes from the resort. The service was a little slow but the food was good. The restaurant is also close to a bunch of quaint ice cream shops, boutique stores and hotels.

Anyways, I found this trip to Cambridge to be light, fun and relaxing. And close to home!! I hope to venture there again soon!

Here are some pics from my trip. I hope you will enjoy them!
