Whipped butter on a fried chicken sandwich seems a bit odd to me, so I asked for that on the side. The fried chicken filets were thin and crispy, and since you get two on the sandwich- there’s one for lunch the next day. Yay! I also appreciated that the fried chicken was not greasy.
My husbands ordered a spicy chicken sandwich that came with mumbo sauce. Although I enjoyed my sandwich, I think my husband enjoyed his a bit more. Lol!
The collards were a little salty, but I still enjoyed them.
We also ordered a slice of red velvet cake, but whoever completed our order neglected to put it in the bag.
I still prefer Chick Fil A, but I think this chicken sandwich could compete with Popeye’s.
I would probably order from The Flame N Roost again.
