MGM National Harbor now includes the BetMGM Sportsbook & Lounge. It has stadium-style and lounge seating for 350 customers, 20 plus betting windows and kiosks, and a 110 foot long wraparound screen. I need to see this!
Besides the Baltimore area casinos, Pimlico Racetrack and the Maryland State Fairgrounds have sportsbook licenses as well. Additionally, professional teams including the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens and the Washington Football Team also have permits.
According to Governor Larry Hogan, this is an opportunity to “provide another critical revenue source for public education without raising taxes on families and small businesses.”
