Don’t Order Biscuits from “The Food Market”- Columbia, MD

I made the mistake of ordering the chicken and biscuits from “The Market”, a restaurant in Columbia, MD.

The “biscuits” were exactly like the ones from a can of Pillsbury.

And they were over cooked. Not what I expected from a restaurant at all. And the chicken was dry as well. Check out this video of my experience.

When I complained, (2) waitresses and the manager claimed the biscuits were made from scratch in their kitchen daily. I kindly told them that IF that is true, they are totally wasting their time. The manager said when she conveyed this to the chef, he laughed.

My husband proceeded to show her a pic of what a biscuit should look like. Lol!

This is real biscuit! lol!!

At least the mozzarella sticks were really good.

My husbands short rib meal was decent, however, it was placed on a dry English muffin. 🤦🏾‍♀️

AND it was FREEZING in there. Not sure what this little space heater by the front door was supposed to do:

Lawd!

At least the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. It was similar to Founding Farmers, but of course the food was not as good.

Be very careful with your food selections if you still dare to patronize this spot.
