The mask mandate will be lifted on Monday, February 28th in Prince George’s County (PGC). It is the only jurisdiction in MD that has fallen into the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s moderate transmission range.
PGC is waiting until the County has a vaccination rate of at least 80% to remove the mandate for schools.
