This restaurant is located in Old Town Alexandria by the water. A great spot!
On a Saturday night, this restaurant was busy- with lots of folks dining inside of the restaurant and outside. There was a little wait- but it went by quickly since there are so many shops and things to see nearby. It’s a great place to dine when the weather is lovely. The wait staff was friendly and very efficient. And the food is tasty as well.
For appetizers, we ordered the fried green tomatoes and baked Mac and Cheese.
The batter on the fried green tomatoes was really good. And the sauce it came with made them even more yummy!
The Mac and Cheese could use a little more seasoning, but was still quite good.
I ordered a burger with a side of broccoli for dinner. The burger was done very well and the bun was fresh. The broccolli was steamed nicely with a hint of lemon.
My husband ordered the “steak fajita quesadilla”, which was pretty good, but could’ve used more seasoning. He found them to be a bit too mild. He was hoping for more robust and intense flavors.
We certainly plan to be diners here again. We look forward to trying a new dish, like perhaps the short ribs. 😋
