The Busboys & Poets Columbia location looks newly established. It’s super cute and colorful! When the weather is warm enough, it will be really nice to sit in their patio area and get a bite to eat.

It was a busy Sunday afternoon when my husband and I arrived (4/10). We were given an estimated wait time of 1 hour. The hostess explained that the hour wait was due to a private event taking place upstairs that minimized available seating for the public.
But luckily we were seated much sooner- in like 30 minutes or so.
The waitress was friendly and took our orders promptly. We ordered the brussels sprouts as an appetizer, which was really good. I was hungry and forgot to take a pic- sorry y’all! Lol!
My husband ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup and sweet potato fries. Which he really enjoyed.

I ordered the turkey burger with a side of sautéed spinach, which I enjoyed as well.

My only complaint about the burger was that it was kinda stinky. My husband says the smell probably came from the mushrooms in the ground turkey mix- which they said couldn’t be changed. 🙄
My husband had a couple of issues with the coffee. The first two cups weren’t hot. And when we got the bill, we discovered that they charge for each cup of coffee. Ugh! How petty is that?!!
Anyways, we were still happy with our experience. Our rating- 3.75 stars!
