The PG County Memorial Library System (PGCMLS) is extremely beneficial to community members of all ages!
There are 19 branch locations throughout the community. And many of the library membership benefits are available virtually. Yay!
Residents can obtain a library card at a branch location or online. However, the online card provides limits your access to the library’s virtual resources- which are many. Please note that if you request a virtual membership card online, I believe you still need to pick it up in person- at the branch you selected as your “home location”.

Non-residents of PG County can obtain a card for $50.
