I took my Dad to brunch at Party HQ in Bowie on Father’s Day since it was close by and there was a car show right there at the town center.

Everything was “reasonably ok”- the food, the service, the atmosphere, the prices, etc.
For example, the menu includes some pretty good options, but I think the prices are a little high for the quality of the food and the average atmosphere.

I guess you have to order a grown-up drink to get a grown-up glass.

We ordered pancakes with a side of bacon and the chicken and waffles. The food arrived in sizable portions and actually tasted pretty good.

I guess the theme of the “restaurant” is HBCU’s?

My alma mater is up there! VUU!

In summary, I’m not sure how I feel about this place. It’s not “great” but it’s not “bad” either.
The owners may want to consider upgrading the decor or something for a nicer experience. Otherwise, I may be tempted to go to IHOP instead for a similar experience at a lower price… 🤷🏾♀️🙏🏾
If any of you guys out there have been to this spot for a bite to eat, let me know about your experience.
