The menu offers a wide range of down home eats like meatloaf, fried chicken, brisket and mac and cheese! And their brunch selections are offered all day!
My Dad, hubby and I had a 45 min wait to be seated on a Saturday afternoon. But once I took a sip of my sweet tea, I could see why there was a wait! It was delicious!
We ordered a biscuit and the short ribs with mac and cheese for the table to share as an appetizer. The short ribs were more like a beef roast- but it was extremely tender and tasty. We were hoping the mac and cheese was more like a baked dish, but we enjoyed it anyways.
My husband and I split the chicken and waffles. The waffle was cooked just right (not too soft or crunchy) and had great flavor. The accompanying chicken breast was nice and juicy!
My Dad ordered an assortment of breakfast items (a la carte) which was well prepared.
He also ordered the Krispy Kreme bread pudding for dessert which is unique and tastes exactly like it sounds. Sorry there is no pic- we were too eager to try it. 🤪
I should add that the customer service was lovely.
