About Me!

Greetings!

My name is Andrea Collymore. I am originally from Richmond, VA, but I’ve been living in Prince George’s County for about 20 years. I’m a CPA that enjoys good food, outdoor events, shopping, arts and crafts and spending time with my pets, husband, and friends and family. I’m also a proud graduate of Virginia Union University and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

I’ve found that being a resident of Prince George’s County, MD has its challenges, but the County really has a lot to offer if you give it a chance. I have lived in Springdale (Upper Marlboro, MD) and Upper Marlboro “proper”. While here, I’ve benefitted from affordable home prices, a reasonable commute into DC, and an increase in amenities over the years. Customer service can be an adventure though. Lol!

I enjoy sharing pictures and my experiences in the community and would love to hear from you. Through my blog, I plan to share my experiences while galavanting through the County and it would be great to hear about yours. I also plan to share any information I have on current and upcoming events in the County. Additionally, my goal is to highlight local entrepreneurs, execs and other talented folks in our community.

Everyone that knows me is aware that my drink of choice is sweet iced tea. So I thought it would be fun to share the sweet and unsweet tea that is Prince George’s County and the DMV. Yay!
